Step 1 – Classroom Instruction

As a prospective real estate agent you must complete 90 hours of classroom pre licensing education before you can become a realtor.

Step 2 -> Pass Your Exams!

After your classroom instruction is done you must pass your school exams and receive your education certificate and you must schedule and pass your state and national exams.

At Nextage we have a mentoring program like no other. Using our proven 90-Day Career Builder Plan we make sure that all new agents testing and training stays on track. We also offer test-taking tips and ongoing support while you are studying for your exam!

Step 3 – File Your Paperwork

Now it’s time to make an application to the state agency that handles professional licensing. This is different in every state.

Step 5 – Choose a Real Estate Association/Board

Depending on the state you are in, there are a number of real estate boards where you can become a member. This is important because they can help you keep track of the changing constantly changing legal process, help you network with other real estate agents and much more.
